Jane's Discovery

It was a typical day in the household of dolls…..

Ziva was practicing taekwondo.

Evie was measuring Audrey, while Audrey dramatically described exactly how she wanted her dress to look.

Nobody was quite sure what Abby was doing.

Starbuck was attempting yet another daring feat [and probably getting very dizzy in the process]

Six was lying on top of a stack of books [again nobody was quite sure what the point of that was].

Jane was sitting on a stack of books.

Slight correction: she was sitting on a stack of good books.

She sighed. Unless Audrey needed her she was always alone. Jane surveyed what everyone else was doing.

Evie and Audrey were discussing ball gowns.

Ziva was teaching Abby taekwondo.

Starbuck was climbing, while Six taunted her.

Jane sighed, and looked away.

She paused, hearing a rustling noise.

She looked to the left, trying to see what it was.

She stood up, and peered out the window.

She stood up straight on the stack of books.

Then tipped over, and fell down.

She pulled herself back up…..

......and came face-to-face with a snuffling, snorting, furry creature.

There was a whole stack of the strange creatures.

‘’Oh,’’ she gasped. ‘’Oh, oh, oh, my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh.’’

All the creatures climbed up beside her.

Jane cocked her head to the side. ‘’Wait a sec, I don’t think you guys are monsters after all. You’re called Tsum Tsums, right? What’re your names?’’

The white one snuffled.

The black one snorted.

The pink-and-purple one barked.

‘’Hmmm, okay. I guess I’ll have to name you,’’ Jane mused.

She called the black one Mosquiter.

The white one was dubbed Sniffles.

The pink-and-purple one was named Jelly Bean.

‘’Oh, you are all so cute,’’ Jane said.

The Tsum Tsums climbed on top of Jane.

Ziva and Abby continued taekwondo.

Six continued to taunt Starbuck.

Audrey continued to complain to Evie.

Meanwhile, Jane snuggled with the Tsum Tsums.

GOTYs Ranked

Hello, again. Today it’s all wet and cloudy so I can’t take pictures of my dolls outside. Instead, I’ll be ranking all of the Girl Of The Years [GOTY] from my least favorite to favorite. Now, of course, I love all of them and I’m not trying to offend you if your favorite is one of the lower ones on this list. This is my personal opinion:

Grace Thomas

Don’t get me wrong: I think she’s a cute doll but she just looks like a Chrissa doll with longer hair. I’m glad AG partnered with No Kid Hungry to make this doll but I found her collection not that impressive with just a few good pieces. Oh, and that bakery was wayyyyyy too expensive.

Blaire Wilson

I LOVE her collection but I didn’t find her very unique, and she’s also into cooking? Hmmm, sound familiar? Anyway, while it’s cool that she’s a farm girl I’m just not a huge fan. She’s cute but not unique is I guess what I’m saying.

Wow, it must seem like I really hate redheads. No, I love redheads, actually. I love Mia’s Meet Outfit but her collection and storyline isn’t that interesting, in my opinion.

Gabriella McBride

I like some of her collection, and Meet Outfit, and I liked the idea of having a girl with mixed interests [like real girls] but they didn’t accomplish it very well, I thought.

Marisol Luna

I like Marisol’s cool outfit, and she’s a GORGEOUS doll but she just never made much of an impression on me, I guess. I like that she actually had a cat, though [hey, AG not all girls are dog people]

Nicki Fleming

While she’s adorable as heck with her cute curls, denim skirt and cowboy boots, and her being a Colorado ranch girl is cool [a bit similar to Blaire, though, hmm? Blaire was the copycat] I found her not the best. Not awful, though. Just an average GOTY.

Saige Copeland

I love her cute outfits, and how she saved the arts program. I found her really whiny, though. And she was a bit of a copy of Nicki.

Isabelle Palmer

Her shoes!!! Ahhhh! I like Izzy’s collection a lot, and her storyline wasn’t the worst. I like her collection a lot. She was a tad obnoxious in the movie but it wasn’t over the top. Her design wasn’t super original, but would people please stop complaining about her being blonde? I’m blonde, and, yes, AG should make more diversity but don’t hate on blondes.

Lanie Holland

I LOVE her fluffy bunny, love of the outdoors and cute outfits! I thought it was cool that she’s a scientist, and loves the outdoors. Her curls look cute, too. I’m a Lanie supporter.

Lindsey Bergman

Ah, yes, the first Girl Of The Year. I love her leggings and short hair! Also: I LOVED her hilarious storyline, it was so realistic, and sounds a lot like ten-year-old me. I liked her small collection, and her scooter? Awesome.

Lea Clark

Lea’s probably one of the most exotic AG dolls ever made. I like her Meet Outfit, too, and her collection was adorable. She’s cute. Honestly, her movie was better than her book, though. Her compass necklace is pretty adorable, too.

Jess McConnell

Jess’ face mold is adorable, and I love her outfit. While not my favorite I still love her. American Girl needs to make another Asian GOTY.

McKenna Brooks

I like that she’s a gymnast, and I find her really cute. I liked her books and movies, too. I really liked Josie, too, and McKenna’s hair is super pretty, too. I like her collection. McKenna is cool.

Kanani Akina

Kanani’s face mold is the cutest I’ve ever seen. I love her dress, and Hawaiian-style outfits. I liked her shave ice stand, and her first book. I love her long, loose curls and she will always be one of my favorites.

Luciana Vega

I love her galaxy dress, and purple hair streak, and she’s into STEM, which is SO cool. I like most of her collection, too. Yeah, Luciana’s pretty great.

Kailey Hopkins

I love her beachy look, and she SAVED THE TIDE POOLS. Kailey was a friend to the Earth long before it was cool, and that’s a thing most people need to realize is more important. I love that about her. Her dog was cool, too.

Chrissa Maxwell

Of course the doll that I have would be my favorite! I love her storyline, she’s super cute, she’s sweet and not very whiny, and I LOVE her! I like her books and movies quite a bit, too. And she had a llama for a pet! I LOVE llamas!
