Review + Photoshoot of My New Doll

Hi. You may or may not know that I recently ordered a new doll. She arrived last night so here is my complete review [plus a photoshoot of her]. First, though, Diamond is holding a Q&A so be sure to ask her some questions if you haven't already. Here's the link www.buildabearsfurever.wordpress.com/2019/09/03/behind-the-scenes-of-camp-happy-heart-important-announcements/.
Diamond is also starting a new blog so be sure to check it out [ihave12ofaplan.wordpress.com], and follow [and if you aren't following Build A Bears Furever be sure to].
Anyway, on with the post!
This is her in the box.
Pay attention, people! If you are under 8 then you can't have this doll.
Side-view of the box.
Here's where you can see all the dolls in this line. And apparently one is a giant. XD.
Okay, okay, I will be unboxing her now.
Out of the box! I don't think you're getting a full view of her face, though....

Ooh, she's floating. And you can see my pajama pants. XD.
Fast forward a day!

Let's start with how gorgeous her face is! She has rooted eyelashes, and glass eyes [I think].
Her facial features look the closest to human I've ever seen on a doll.

This is a close-up of her skirt and shoes.
Here's another. The fabric used to make her clothes is probably the highest quality fabric I've felt used for dolls.
Have I mentioned how gorgeous she is?
She has joints at the elbow, wrist, knee, ankle, waist, chest and neck.
And, yes, you can take off her veil.
If you untie that string then it comes off.
Look how intricate the beading is. And her gorgeous feather.
Here're the shoes.
They are perhaps the only thing I dislike, just because they're so hard to fasten. They are gorgeous, though.
She's very poseable, which is good if you're a doll photographer or an artist in need of a model.
So pretty.
I wish the close-up of her hand wasn't so blurry.
The plastic feels much higher quality, as well.
Here's what her joint looks like.

Okay, the shoes are fine, but this stand is reallllllly difficult. Ridiculously difficult.
Here're a few more pictures:

I have decided to name her Delphi [thanks for the suggestion, Quinley].
I would definitely recommend these dolls. If you are interested I think you can find them on Amazon.
You'll be seeing Delphi in lots of posts from now on.
