Delphi's Adventure Part 1

Everyone was waiting.’’
‘’Do you think the new girl will be here soon?’’ Josefina asked Serena.
‘’I think she’ll be here soon,’’ Serena said. ’’I’m so tired of waiting!’’ Josefina exclaimed. ’’Hello,’’ said the beautiful, young woman standing in front of them.
‘’’Hi!’’ Josefina said. ‘’I’m Josefina.’’’’Nice to meet you, Josefina,’’ said the woman. ‘’My name is Delphi.’’
‘’And I’m Chrissa,’’ Chrissa said. ‘’The girl with the blonde hair and green eyes is named Serena.’’

’’And on the couch up there is Caprica, Starbuck, Audrey,Abby and Jane.’’’’Well, it’s nice to meet you all,’’ Delphi said. ’’Where did you come from?’’ Josefina asked. ’’It’s a long story,’’ Delphi remarked.
‘’We have time, we have time!’’ Josefina said, eagerly. ’’All right,’’ Delphi started. ’’I was just leaving the Maho no Ryoki. It’s actually a very difficult place to leave,’’ Delphi explained. ’’I went searching for a passageway to Earth.’’’’It’s hidden in this gnarled, old tree stump. Once you touch the center of it your powers will be drained.’’ ’’I placed my hand on it.’’’’I could actually feel the power draining out of me. Then the entrance to Earth appeared.’’’’I looked around for awhile before I heard a loud yowl,’’ Delphi said.

‘’I turned around and saw the first Guardian, a Mountain Lion.’’

Random Updates

So, if any of you read Tales of A Triple Threat, my personal blog---have you been experiencing difficulties regarding the comments section? I tried to comment on a post today and it gave me a lot of trouble. Has it been similar when you're commenting? I just need to know if it's a problem with my computer or with the blog itself. Review + Photoshoot of My New Doll

Hi. You may or may not know that I recently ordered a new doll. She arrived last night so here is my complete review [plus a photoshoot of her]. First, though, Diamond is holding a Q&A so be sure to ask her some questions if you haven't already. Here's the link www.buildabearsfurever.wordpress.com/2019/09/03/behind-the-scenes-of-camp-happy-heart-important-announcements/.
Diamond is also starting a new blog so be sure to check it out [ihave12ofaplan.wordpress.com], and follow [and if you aren't following Build A Bears Furever be sure to].
Anyway, on with the post!
This is her in the box.
Pay attention, people! If you are under 8 then you can't have this doll.
Side-view of the box.
Here's where you can see all the dolls in this line. And apparently one is a giant. XD.
Okay, okay, I will be unboxing her now.
Out of the box! I don't think you're getting a full view of her face, though....

Ooh, she's floating. And you can see my pajama pants. XD.
Fast forward a day!

Let's start with how gorgeous her face is! She has rooted eyelashes, and glass eyes [I think].
Her facial features look the closest to human I've ever seen on a doll.

This is a close-up of her skirt and shoes.
Here's another. The fabric used to make her clothes is probably the highest quality fabric I've felt used for dolls.
Have I mentioned how gorgeous she is?
She has joints at the elbow, wrist, knee, ankle, waist, chest and neck.
And, yes, you can take off her veil.
If you untie that string then it comes off.
Look how intricate the beading is. And her gorgeous feather.
Here're the shoes.
They are perhaps the only thing I dislike, just because they're so hard to fasten. They are gorgeous, though.
She's very poseable, which is good if you're a doll photographer or an artist in need of a model.
So pretty.
I wish the close-up of her hand wasn't so blurry.
The plastic feels much higher quality, as well.
Here's what her joint looks like.

Okay, the shoes are fine, but this stand is reallllllly difficult. Ridiculously difficult.
Here're a few more pictures:

I have decided to name her Delphi [thanks for the suggestion, Quinley].
I would definitely recommend these dolls. If you are interested I think you can find them on Amazon.
You'll be seeing Delphi in lots of posts from now on.
